As of September 25, 2025, the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) has launched a national strike in response to the government’s announcement on Canada Post’s transformation.

Unlike the earlier rotating strikes, this action means that Canada Post operations are shut down nationwide. Mail and parcels will not be processed or delivered for the duration of the strike, and many post offices are closed. Service guarantees are suspended for items already in the network, and Canada Post is not accepting any new shipments until the disruption is over.

What this means for you:

  • We cannot ship with Canada Post until operations resume.

  • Once the strike ends, expect delays while Canada Post clears the backlog.

  • Local customers can still choose free in-store pickup during business hours.
